New Member on Board!
Hey all. I'm Jake, better known as TomPettyandHeartbreakersFan.
A bit of general information. Rickenbackers are my favorite guitars/basses and have been through three and still own one. My favorite models are the 660/12 and the 4001S. I own a 1991 660/12TP JG, number 53 in the production. It is the best guitar I have ever owned (next to my Fender Strat, but that's another story!), and I play it whenever I do 12-string stuff.
I've been playing guitar since I was 12, and I'm 16 today, and am still rocking! I don't know how to play bass, but if I ever got a 4001S (original or copy), I'd be happy to learn! Some of my favorite bands include Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers (hence the username!), the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Who and the Byrds. The reasons they're Rick bands is one reason I like them!
I'm on the offical Rickenbacker forums as TomPettyandHeartbreakersFan, and I'm on YouTube as RockandRollFan1991.
Looking forward to making a lot of new friends and learning more about the Rics that I know and love!

Welcome to the forum, Jake.
Re: New Member on Board!
Welcome Jake! Good taste with your favorite bass (see my avatar).
Re: New Member on Board!
Welcome, Jake! My 660/12TP JG is also a 1991, but mine didn't come with its C of A, so I don't know what number it is in the series.
Re: New Member on Board!
Welcome aboard...lots of very friendly, helpful folks!
Re: New Member on Board!
Thanks for the warm welcome so far, everyone! I've learned a lot so far, and I've also made friends with Rickinroma via PM.
I enjoy being here, and I think I'm going to enjoy my stay. If I do something to leave, or get thrown out, I'll be an idiot!
