Nice job Michael. When this album came out in the US I was lucky enough to have a show on the University of MD station, WMUC-FM. Several of us played the album at the time. The tracks getting the most airplay were "Loves Melody" (I used to play both the Searchers and the Ducks Deluxe versions) and "September Gurls" as there were some Alex Chilton fans working there.
The only publicity I remember seeing for it was a big ad in Trouser Press. The promotional copy we got at the station came with absolutely no info about the Searchers which I thought was ashame but so it goes.
