I too await pics, stories, and to hear the music that will be created. Have a safe trip down Medways - I know you'll be well cared for once there!

Lack of others posting is probably a combination of it being a holiday weekend with family coming into town and also jealousy!

Just watch out for extra picks showing up on those Ricks!

Re: Two Weeks From Today
Well...... Brian and Penny's flight has landed in Sydney and I'm just about to head out to Melbourne airport to greet them. They'll probably be pretty ******** after being in the air for what must seem like a week, so we'll take it very quietly for the first day or two. However, if they're fired up the steaks and beer are in the fridge and I have about 25 guitars for Brian to check out
Looking forward to a fantastic three weeks!!

Hope there is rapid posting..
Re: Two Weeks From Today
We arrived in Melbourne and we are dead tired. I just had to take the time to say what a beautiful country this is.
On another note: Aitch has already had me fix one guitar and drive on the wrong side of the road. No rest for the wicked
. I have also inserted a pick under the strings of at least one of his guitars.
We are off to a cricket match and a barbie tomorrow. Did I mention how much fun we are having? It's good to see Howard again. We are already making plans for his return visit to the Okanagan next summer.

Hey Brian and Penny, welcome to our part of the world!! Great to see you finally got here!
I'm not sure what plans are being made, or have been made, but i hope to catch up with you both sometime soon! May your stay be a happy, enjoyable and VERY memorable one!
Keep us informed of any events you have planned Aitch!
The Medway's, i'm sure, will love being here in the best city in the world!

Well, Richard. We've had 3 or 4 impromptu jams and hopefully Ron will be able to come over on Friday to make it a trio..... we have to have some tracks ready to murder on the 9th!!
Brian was busy sampling some of my wares yesterday......
Very impressed with the Gretch, Paul..... he'd be more than happy to take it home....
He's never played a 330 before and quite liked this one.........
And of course he's multi-talented!

Re: Two Weeks From Today
But in the end it was a little tough deciding his favourites, so he gave some the 'Medway' seal of approval. Note the picks in the strings!
And he's less than half way through the total collection!!
Ron and Fran Viney popped around yesterday to spend some time with us in the beautiful Melbourne sunshine. Sorry to tell you Northerners but we're enjoying sunny days between 75 and 95 degrees!
We're off into the city and Southbank today, so more pics later............

Re: Two Weeks From Today
I see the Coronas ready at hand, Aitch! I advise keeping a good count of the "picked" instruments!
Thanks for rubbing in the warm temps - we hit 33F today!

Re: Two Weeks From Today
We had a great day yesterday. I got to "sample" a few more of Aitches great collection of musical gear. He has something for every occasion. Today I finally got to hold the Maton. Wow! What a great looking guitar. I'll give it a whirl a bit later in the day.
I asked him not to bring out the 660/12 because I have a soft spot for them. He ignored me of course and now I have full blown RAS. It's terrible when that happens. One of the symptoms I have discovered is that you can't sleep properly at night. All you can really do is grin and bear it.
Greg we'll give you a call later and have a bit of a chat. It's been a hectic couple of days but we have finally settled in to a routine. We could get used to Australia. It's a great country full of very warm and friendly people. We had a great meal last night at a local pub and Penny got to have a go at playing the slot machines. She says she won five dollars. It only cost her twenty to win as well. What a bargain! LOL
We are off out again in the car today and we'll have a go at posting some pics when we get back.
