Thanks Tom.

This is my band:

Rickenbacker guitars used on all songs.

The 'Rainwater' demo features a single track of my 1997SPC/VB played live in the studio (a true 3 piece recording with no overdubs). I used my black pepper Fender Super Sonic amplifier on the Vibrolux channel.

You all are too kind. We'll take Elvis C (Attractions?) comparisons for sure!

Noel, you stuff is good, innovative and well mixed.

Crafty stuff, Glenn! Is that a Farfisa I hear in with the Ricks?

So who are The Janglemen? I assume Biscuti is one of them. Are you in the band also, or did you produce the recordings? Or both? A Janglemen bio is in order!

Thanks, Mark. Farfisa like, lol.

Yes, and yes. And there's his excellent drummer, Mike, who also engineers as well, as does John. They produced, let me tell you. There is sort of a bio on a MySpace page that's slowly evolving (not even music on it yet but soon): http://www.myspace.com/thejanglemen

Here are some songs by my band:

http://www.myspace.com/mapc

The song 'Baby I'm Yours' is all Rickenbacker - the rhythm guitar is a 80's 610 FG though a Victoria 5112, the lead guitar is a '01 360 JG through a Vox AC-15, and the bass is my '06 4003 AFG going direct. The drums are Gretsch though.

Great songs, Richard. Anyone ever offer to trade their inlaws for yours? :)

Ethan! 'Baby I'm Yours' is wonderful. Does the name Stan Cullimore mean anything to you?

Got to listen to a couple of your songs before the wife got home from work, and some @#%&@! automated telephone survey interrupted me. And I must say, I was quite impressed.

Really, I've heard a lot of good stuff coming from forumites. What a talented crew. I guess I'd better buckle down and get busy writing.

(...only 9 more months till my Rick arrives...allegedly)

Noel thanks for the link – I’m liking what I’m hearing there… Rainwater is neat – really like the Spirographic would be a good nasty bar tune.

OK now the Janglemen – kudos to Glenn, John B and Mike the drummer… and the Attractions feel still sticks.

Richard, great tunes – I really like Real and Hand Me Down My Sunglasses…Something about The Sweetest reminds me of some of the early Who stuff. Not sure why…..

Is that Stan Cullimore of Housemartians? I vaguely remember them. I think he writes books now.

Ethan like wise great tunes!

Now I have some more sites to listen at.

Echo what James said….. talented crew. I say who needs radio when you have the forumites’ sites!!!!!!

Thanks! 'Rainwater' is quite personal for me -if an instrumental can be personal.

Yes, Stan Cullimore was in Hull, England's HOUSEMARTINS. They were a fabulous group and I never saw him play any electric guitar besides a cresting wave Rickenbacker 620 (jetglo, of course).

Noel, yes, I love the Housemartins! They're a big influence on our sound. Can you tell?

Glenn, great stuff! The guitar sounds fantastic!

In honor of the anniversary of John Lennon's passing on this day in 1980, I posted my cover of 'You Can't Do That' on my Myspace page:

'You Can't Do That'

Featured on the recording is the '79 4001V63 JG
