360/12V66
I was checking rickbeat.com, and I noticed this particular model...
Apparently, they were only for distribution in Japan, they were finished in Fireglo only and there were a small number made. They look similar to the Carl Wilson Limited Edition, and they're as gorgeous as they come!
Anyone here own one? Or at least have more information on them?

I have one of the 24 produced. It is very similar to the CW 12 strings but the top is slightly thicker, it has silver top knobs, and the owners manual/warranty card has Japanese text. I will try to post some pics soon.

I want it!!!
...just joking.
Seriously, it's a beautiful guitar. Great pics! I know they're impossible to find, but if I had the chance to buy one, I'd jump on it!

Why not just get a Carl Wilson model?TomPettyandHeartbreakersFan wrote:I know they're impossible to find, but if I had the chance to buy one, I'd jump on it!

There's also a member here with a mapleglo 370/12v66 who had the tuners inverted like one of Roger McGuinns guitars... I thought it looked pretty cool!
Re: 360/12V66
Because this model has a thicker top and no .0047 treble cap. I'd want one closer to the original rather than a custom made replicanyrkickazz1 wrote:Why not just get a Carl Wilson model?TomPettyandHeartbreakersFan wrote:I know they're impossible to find, but if I had the chance to buy one, I'd jump on it!

Kevin, is the neck thin like an actual '66?

I really like that look. It seems, however, that in practical terms it may take some getting used to at least in the beginning.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

You may have discussed in other forum posts, but what's the rundown on the toggle/slider switch setup you've got on this one?

The upper toggle is a tone selector, the middle slider is an on off for the treble boost and the lower toggle is a pickup selector.
