I'm hungry!!!

This is not OT at all, in fact it is the topic; Steve was discussing ham sandwiches, and the bass project was something to keep him busy while eating his.

Did You Ever Have One Of Those Days? You know, one of those days when you just needed a great tasting stuffed ham sandwich. :)

Tammy, I do know what you mean about the party cooking the food ... I had some of my most memorable parties cooking the pig before a pig roast! Also my wife and I cooking for a big gathering here - we get in each others' way but still have a great time..... OK, I just finished supper and getting hungry again thinking about it.

mrs_brown wrote:one ham contains about 2 heads of cabbage 4 pounds of uncooked kale and lots of onions it is all chopped till your hands are ready to fall off then you add celery seed, mustard seed, crushed red pepper, black pepper, salt and ground red pepper to the chopped veggies.. let it sit for a half an hour or so and then stuff the ham cavity and peirce the meat to create holes to stuff more of the stuffing into.. Then the ham is simmered for about 6 hours..
Thanks Tammy, I've added your instructions to my recipe book.

Sorry been busy with work today - very astute eyes the forumites have - yes a Manta Ray - I shot it (picture) on a night dive a couple years ago off of Kona. This one was about eight feet across a male. Others were into the teens in wingspan. They are amazingly graceful animals and just eat plankton type stuff. Off to practice now...
