My jazz band Super Murgitroid at two different gigs. We are playing again tomorrow outside at a Gallery Hop. It's going to be cold! Pictures to come...

Here's a picture from our gig at the Columbus Gallery Hop. It was Christmas themed, very festive, and extremely cold. My fingers were too frozen to play half of our songs, so I either used my thumb like a pick (as seen in the photo!), or I just played solely with my left hand. Overall, it was fun!

Joshua, I was at Hai Ku and Jeni's Friday evening. Man, it was freezing out so I can imagine what Saturday evening was like!

Jeffrey,
Good to know there's another Ric user here in Columbus. Let me know if you are playing around town, I'll come check it out!

Joshua, when I saw Jeffrey play (at the 75th) it made me want to quit. He's seriously awesome.

Joshua, I live up in Cleveburg but get down to Cowtown occasionally. We come down for Winterfair every year.

Shouldn't make you want to quit, instead inspire you to play even better :D

I love it! I've been discovering a lot of funk and fusion stuff played on Rics, and its really encouraging. This is the kind of stuff I'm interested in, but I used to be afraid that Rics weren't really made for that. Boy was I wrong!

Top notch bass playing.

A lot of what you heard is on his '67 4005 bass.
