For those of you who bought the recording the Beatles book (http://www.recordingthebeatles.com) in the last year, here is a podcast interview with the Authors that you might enjoy. http://www.musiciansradio.com/index.php/podcasts

Ken,

Seeing as some of us don't post enough, I appreciate the link. I have one of the first signed copies (numbered). It is amazing the amount of research their project turned into. Like many projects, if they had have known what they were getting into, they would have never written those first few questions down.

It is truly an amazing piece of work with many (well-researched) pieces to The Beatles puzzle answered. Thank again for offering this link I doubt I would have discovered on my own.

Your very welcome.

If you are interested check out this link http://recforums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/t/20178/0/ . Brian posts ona semi-regular basis on this forum.

He also mentions they are giving talks periodically.

Ken,

Thank you for that site as well. I had the opportunity to speak and listen to both Kevin and Ryan at Voxfest a few years back. They were still working, researching, etc.

Everyone in Beatle circles was buzzing about how great Recording The Beatles was going to be. I still was (and am) in awe of the amount of NEW information was documented. They really made an effort to leave out information they could not confim from more than several sources. There has been so much written about the fabs. And so many incorrect captions with photos and the like, it is grueling to imagine how much info they had to leave out.

A signing party at Abbey Road was bound to be a better reward for them than any dollars they make on this project. I get the feeling it would not have been as good if it was not a labor of love for Kevin and Ryan.

Thank you again.

Thanks for flagging this Ken, the book release had slipped under my radar. Listening to the podcast made up my mind straight away. Placed an order immediately, now the wait begins....... By the way are these initial copies signed by the authors? Thanks again Ken.

Jamie,

The book came out last year around this time. I believe those were the copies that were signed. I doubt the ones that are shipping now are signed.
