5 String conversion

I had some wrist problems and decided to convert my 4004 Cii to a 5 to minimize the reach to the E string . .

This is a highly overlooked feature of the 5-string bass. The E string is closer and makes a wide neck smaller, even if you don't use the B string a lot.
I agree that Brian's bass would make a great 5-string!

I was tempted to buy Brian's Darth Vader bass and have it converted to a 5'er. But in the end, I guess I was too much of a sissy.
