Songs that mention the Beatles
I can think of 6 off hand, without counting the many novelty songs which were flooding out with the first wave of American Beatlemania.
Anyone?

Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
Lennon's "The Dream is Over," of course.
Peter, Paul & Mary: "I Dig Rock N Roll Music"
Jellyfish: "All I want is Everything"
Three Dog Night: "Never Been to Spain"
Any on your list?

I can't remember the name of the group, but the name of the song is " Don't call us, We'll call you". It also has the riff from "I Feel Fine" in it.
Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
Bowie says "cause Lennon on sale again" in "Life on mars?".
So long and thanks for all the fish!
Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
The Tractors, "The Tulsa shuffle": "I love England, i love the Beatles, the Who and the Rolling Stones".
(ahem) Billy Joel, "We didn't start the fire": "Lawrence of Arabia, British Beatlemania".

'1977' by the Clash.
'To Hell with the Beatles Reunion' by the Forgotten Rebels. They also did the song 'Elvis is Dead'. Subtlety was not their strong suit.

The Seeker - The Who
the aforementioned Peter Paul and Mary song
London Calling -the Clash

"Randy Scouse Git" by the Monkees. It's a very cool song that makes reference to the Beatles as the "4 kings of EMI".
Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
"I Love The Beatles But My Baby Loves The Rolling Stones" - Bob Segarini
"Beatle Boots" - Love Tractor
"Rock 'n Roll I Gave You All The Best Years Of My Life" - Kevin Johnston/Mac Davis/Terry Jacks
"Do You Remember Rock 'n Roll Radio" - Ramones
(from their 1980 Sire release, End of the Century, produced by Phil Spector. John Lennon gets mentioned, as in do you remember listening to rock 'n roll on the radio, when it was still good...and then about eight months later, the man is murdered).

How about one from country music legend Merle Haggard, Are the Good Times Really Over?
"Before The Beatles and Yesterday,
When a man could still work and still would."
