Ricky Nelson - Garden Party Technically it doesn't mention them by name, but...............
People came from miles around, everyone was there
Yoko brought her walrus, there was magic in the air
'n' over in the corner, much to my surprise
Mr. Hughes hid in Dylan's shoes wearing his disguise

Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
The "Flabby Road" series has hundreds of songs using "Beatles"

And even someone who didn’t mind ripping off the Beatle name directly:

Mötley Crüe - "Slice of your pie"
The Beatles are quoted in the song's outro which is a copy from the "I want you" (She's so heavy) outro.

Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
When We Was Fab - George Harrison
Re: Songs that mention the Beatles
Actually caught this on a late night video show here in OZ last night! It was recorded in around 1980-81 by a group of Aussie session musos.
Called "(What will we be)Singing in the 80's" by The Monitors.
"I can see Sgt. Pepper standing high on the hill,
with George, John, Ringo and Paul.......and Paul........and Paul..."
Rather tragic piece of work!

Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band - "Beatle Bones 'N' Smoking Stones"
The name of the group that did "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You" was Sugarloaf - same group that had the hit with "Green-Eyed Lady". "DCUWCY" was from 1975 and "Green-Eyed Lady" was from '70.
