Thanks Greg.

I know Ravi Sawhney; quite a visionary (and egotist...). I have played these, too, as we did a design study on gig bags and cases for RKS.

These are terrific-, though unconventional-looking, guitars. Balance is good, playability is excellent. I don't think they're ugly; to some they take some getting used to, as I imagine Fender Telecasters did. I don't, however, mean to imply that this is a classic design!

Where the RKS guitars let me down is in their very conventional electronics. I can understand selling guitars with run-of-the-mill humbuckers if that's all that's available, but when a guitar looks like Son of Batarang, it should have real sonic potential. RKS has failed at this part of things; musical tech adviser was Dave Mason (also an investor in this project, BTW), and I think they should have looked further afield.

But if you like something that looks like Batarang's Son, but sounds like Les Paul's Grandma, this is your bet.

It's the only thing on his site...the rest is under construction. God help us when the pages are filled with photos.

That is true firewood.

If only he could find a shipping company for Klingon heavy metal bands- he probably couldn't make enough of them.

What about this for a right mess:-

The seller even has the guts (or stupidity) to admit that he was the butcher who performed such a massacre! :(

You should not buy this bass if you are looking for a 1963 Fender Precision Bass in mint condition.
Got to admit he's a helpful seller! :D :D

I also don't think that things really did turn out so well for Jaco. Maybe he just needed this bass.
