Well, we could say that if Rickenbacker uses that photo of him without asking his permission, he is going to stick a TRC on it that says "ACME".

He's a guy who wrote "Rock'n'roll girls". That forgives him a lot, imho. :)

Putting John's personal dislike for me aside for a moment, I must say this guy took the worst screwing in the history of rock and roll. Much worse than Little Richard, to say the least.
Out-manuvered by his manager, betrayed by his own brother, dishonored by his former band mates, i.e. creadence revisited, and ripped off for millions of dollars....it's been a long road.

The Revisited are a bunch of [censored], however... remember the infamous story of RRHF introduction? Moreover, as the original CCR members / founders of Revisited (Cook and Clifford) stated, they did invite Fogerty to join them, but he declined and sued them for the use of band's name. I am not so sure as to who is a "good boy" and who is a "bad boy" here. Imho, they're all equally... whatever.
As far as the manager is concerned — you may remember "Fogerty's revenge" story and the song named Vanz kant danz (rumour has it, originally "Zaenz kant danz"). That was pretty harsh. And if i am not mistaken, it was before Fogerty was sued for "self-plagiarizing" in a song called "Old man down the road". Of course, he did have his reasons for writing and recording "Vanz...", but still... way back in the 60s, he said Zaentz was a good friend of his.
As far as betrayal is concerned... i wouldn't be so sure as to who betrayed who. Tom was the original lead singer for the band, he wrote some material in the early days, and then... the lead vocals were took over, and his only song featured in CCR albums was "Walk on the water", and no lead parts for him. Did he feel comfortable having been pushed back? We'll probably never know. Of course, you may say Tom wasn't as brilliant at both songwriting and singing as John, but he wasn't bad at it, either. (Oh well. Of course, being a fan of Tom, i cannot be objective...)
On a happier note, i'd say that one of Fogerty-jr's new songs, She's got baggage, is cool and rocking. I didn't expect him to do anything like that. And hell, if all the songs on his new album (well, "new" is too strong a word, but i've just found out it was released in 2004  ) were like that, i would have definitely bought it!

A friend of mine said that he's used a 360/12. I told him I've only seen him with the 1996 with Gibson-style humbucker and Bigsby. I showed him a pic of Brian Jones of the Stones with a 360/12, and he said "That's what it looked like." This thread feels like a good place to bring up the question: HAS Fogerty used a 360/12?
