This is interesting, and backs up the statement about beer brands being popular in certain states.

Another one (Fosters seems very popular in the U.K):

Fosters? Oh yeah that one. We don't drink it in Australia as it made everyone sick, so we sold the rest of it overseas to get rid of it!
The coopers home brew stuff when done right can be one of the best beers you will ever taste, comparable even with Beer in August in Munich!
I like the taste of the coopers bottled stuff but it really leaves you with a nasty hangover even if you did not drink that much!
James Boag is alright, lacks a bit of guts..
Tooheys Draught is rumored to be a by-product from a Draught horse... But us New South Welshmen still seem to drink plenty of it. 8)

That's funny, because that's almost the very same thing that Darren Trott said to me when I was kidding him about Fosters being Australian for beer!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Well you could use fosters for weed control in your garden........
The coopers extra stout is pretty good (however I like my beer to be thick enough for a mouse to walk across the top)

That would be a plus in my book.
