I own a 2006 360 and a 2007 660
The 360s neck is rounded on the back like a baseball bat. The 660 is much slimmer though wider.
Has the 360 always been rounded like this?
Also, the 360 has a wider headstock. I understand that Rickenbacker went back to the thinner headstock. How long did they use the fatter headstocks? I like the thinner ones more.
Thank you.

I can't comment on the headstocks as I don't know the timeline but I'm with you on the necks, Brett. My first Rick (an '04 330) and my 620 both have what could be described as 'clubby' necks as does my '04 360. Yet my '05 330 and '06 330DCM have a much shallower profile - as does my 660/12. More a 'D' profile than a 'C'.
My 350v63s (an '04 and two '05s) all have the shallower profile too.

Re: Rickenbacker Necks
I was kind of wondering if the late '50s/early '60s necks were wide like the 660s. In any case I doubt they were thin.
