Saddle Screws Protruding

Greetings,

I have a 2002 Jetglo 4003 and when I adjusted the action, I needed to lower the bridge. While lowering the bridge, the saddle screws are protruding, causing the bridge to sit at an angle and not fit in the opening properly. Can the saddle screws be screwed in deeper to allow for proper seating?

Are you sure you have the saddle intonation screws going through the bridge properly, fitting in the front holes (opposite of the head of the screws)? It's not normal for them to stick out like that. Check how the screws are seated in the bridge. How new is this 4003? Does it have the springs on the bridge screws? Newer ones do. If it is a newer 4003. check the springs to be sure they are properly on the intonation screws.

Requiring full names to be shown is a very big security concern that I would think this forum would take into consideration. Why make it easy for the crooks out there to find your users?
