"ten copies that were ever signed" -- yes, a wrong assesment! Yes, there are 10 known signed copies in the collector world. There is no doubt that there are more but they have not surfaced.

Mildly off topic here.....I sold a Cliff Burton signed "Ride the Lightning" album last year (signed by the rest of the band as well) for a hefty sum (not nearly this hefty of course) and, while it was nice to have, I came to the conclusion that the signed piece really didn't matter much to me. Standing in the cold all morning with friends, shaking Cliff's hand and chatting with him (and the rest of the band) were what really mattered and I still have those memories.

A friend who was later murdered (long story) had Cliff sign his Burgundy 4001.....I'd be interested in the value of that but I have no idea where it is now since I lost touch with the family......

Sorry.....back on topic and congrats Peter!
