For sale: '68 Hofner 500/1

There is a local vintage guitar shop I was at yesterday, and I spotted a 500/1 there. The finish has major checking all over it but other than that the bass is very nice. The neck is straight with nice playability although the intonation would need to be addressed, the pickups are the blade type which I had not seen before but the owner of the shop said they were what replaced the staple types around '67 to '68. I didn't plug it in so I can not comment on the electronics.
