Very nice family photos Howard! You have quite a beautiful line up there. I hope 2008 brings more joy and happiness... and a few more rick's... Namely that elusive Hoffs model you drool over...
Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
One of the great things about this forum is being lucky enough to live close to Trotty and Aitch, which allows me to actually see and play these awesome guitars! I joined here after buying my first rick, met a top bunch of people, and am fortunate to have played nearly every model that there is!! I've also bought 3 more ricks over the years!
It's a brilliant collection you have Aitch,i hope that elusive 350v63MG turns up mate!
A very happy new year to you all!
Aitch, it's 39deg C now!!!

Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
Thank you all very much....... I am one very lucky guy.
Sorry about the typo, Kevin..... John is correct - 350v63. And thanks for the tip. Sorry to say but the 360v64 JG is going to the grave with me!
Todd: The Monty 330 is really one of my favourites. It has a really sweet neck - much like the 350v63s and 360v64. And it has one of the most amazing grains I've ever seen in a Rick fretboard. From the side it looks a lot like burled walnut. And the gold guards, TRC and knobs complement the colour IMO. Thanks to Stan Castles, it is one of my most treasured guitars.
Larry: I haven't polished them for about 8 months or so. Some might say I'm a bit anal when it comes to the condition of my guitars but that's the way it's always going to be. I get a real kick out of opening a case for somebody and seeing their reaction when they are confronted by a dazzling, shiny Rick. I always clean them up after playing too...... strings, neck, body, metal parts - pretty much everything.
Jake: The 1997 is very similar in feel to the 330 MB, 360v64 and 350v63s....... slim neck - not chunky at all like the 330 FG and 360 FG. Fellow forumite Mitch Berger was nice enough to sell it to me.
Thanks for the best wishes, Tammy. If you and Steve play your cards right you can get a 'first hand' in 2010! That goes for all forumites who make it over here....... any time!!
Greg: I can't do anything but echo your comments about this forum. Meeting you, Trotty, Ron, Shane, Frank, Joe, Mark and all their families has been nothing short of a privilege and I can count you all among my fondest friends. Add to that all the great friends I have in the USA, Canada and the UK - through this forum - and I am truly blessed.
Sheesh!!! It's 7:00pm here and it's still 38.5C.......... come on down, Paul!!

I just had to "chime in" as well, and say how beautiful your collection is. Have a great New Year Howard, and may 2008 bring you the Ricks you want!
Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
Those additional group shots are great! From the looks of the collection, I'm not only going to take Paul's advice and buy stock in a guitar stand company, I'm going to buy some stock in Zymol! It's obvious everyone of those has had some serious TLC!
Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
Beautiful family there! Happy New! I love the monty 350....
Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
Looks great, Aitch. A confluence of one! I'm inspired by that - I may have to try shooting a similar photo myself tomorrow. It's about 26 C here and sunny and I'm loving it.

Thanks for the tip also, John. I'm keeping my eye on ebay rather than trying to source one through a US dealer. I wouldn't want any of them to run the risk of compromising their dealership agreement (even though there are ways) and I'm inclined to think that there is more chance of saving some serious bucks on ebay.
Re: 2007 Rick family pics....
I'm with John, Howard - 13 is bad karma you definitely need at least one more to get off that number
BTW how come you weren't like the rest of us and at work in the heat instead of swanning around taking pics?

Great collection Howard. I really like the Monty 350 with the HB-1. How does it compare soundwise to the other 350's?
