The DCM has landed!

Post by gibsonlp »

Yup, I finally got it! after paying extra $500 worth of VAT, clearance charge for Fedex and storage I finally have it.

It is simply beautiful! not in mint condition, but near-mint (with a few stupid bruises that could have been avoided if the first owner would actually care about it...).

Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow.
So long and thanks for all the fish!

Well done, Gil. Congratulations on acquiring this beautiful instrument. Please tell us how it plays and sounds.

Delicious. Every time I see DCM on a particular model, I think to myself, "That colour works best on that model." Then I see another one and I change my mind.

Right now, I think DCM works best on a 660.

My 660DCM does have a great jazz tone using just the neck toaster with the tone control rolled back a bit. Now if I could only play as good as it sounds!
