Yeah, I noticed there was no fine-print model/owner/photographer credits on this one, Paul, like on the last two calendars. Maybe you could provide info here?

I've been wondering about whose beautiful 5-string bass that is that I've been admiring since New Year's Day.... Truly the mapleglo really seems to GLO!

I kind of miss the info about the models pictured and who they belong to.

BTW, for those who didn't recognize the jacket from last year, my guitar is Miss February once again--this time it's the headstock of my Comstock acoustic.... Lately it's been the guitar that's been getting the most love and attention from me!

That would be my 4003s/5.

I'm on pins and needles waiting for my calendar to arrive!

Rather than putting the burden on Paul to ID the guitars/owners, since all the shots submitted to Paul were submitted by us, why don't we ID ourselves as to our 2008 Calendar month?

Just to start this off, you can figure out some of the owners just by looking at their posts on this thread.

January - Dan's 4003s/5
February - Melissa's Comstock headstock
March - (someone who likes doublenecks - you know who you are!)
April - Paul's Sea Green 4003
May - Patrick's 330
June - (someone who likes 325s)**
July - (that is a great montage photo and a greater 60's 4001 MG)**
August - me and my Banjolines
Sept - John (same guitar as your Forum avatar?)
Oct - FAR OUT !!**
Nov - (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?)**
Dec - (someone who likes a few 4001s mixed with his 4003s - you know who you are!)

Okay, if my primitive powers of observation are dialed in, we've got 5 or 6 nailed, 2 probables and 4 mystery guests**. Let the confessions begin! Will the real owners please step up and fill out or correct this list? If not, we will keep on guessing until the next COY comes along to distract us.

Yes, Miss September is my customized 350, which I first introduced to the Forum here:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=377309&p=377643&hil ... re#p377643

Considering the beautiful guitars owned by Forum members, I'm quite honored to have it selected.

July is Mark Walker's; the ironic, patriotic, and nostalgic montage was a collaborative effort between Mark and myself. October is also Mark's; it's entirely his Photoshop work and is one of my favorite mash-ups. Terrific work! June is Jdog's, out by the pool like Jdog himself. December, of course, was Joey...it was a small, grainy shot, so it benefited from a bit of Photoshop work to render it a little less photo and more graphic once enlarged to calendar size.

Next year, I'll re-introduce the credits--by popular demand.

You're slipping Ron! You missed the S/5 and the Cii/5's!

Yeah, that pic needed a lot of Photoshop help!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Mine finally arrived today...... only took a month (previously 7 to 10 days) but the wait was sure worth it. Thanks to all who submitted pics and of course to the Curmudge for putting it together. :D

Okay, based on the responses, here's the updated recap of contributors to the calendar. We are still missing Mr. or Ms. Doubleneck for March:

January - Dan's 4003s/5
February - Melissa's Comstock headstock (Valentine's Day)
March - (someone who likes doublenecks)
April - Paul's Sea Green 4003
May - Patrick's 330
June - Jason's 325s
July - Mark and Paul's 60's montage (is Three Dog Night in there somewhere?) with a 4001 MG (4th)
August - Ron's 6006 and 6005 Banjolines
Sept - John's customized 350
Oct - Mark's truly scary montage featuring the lefty 4001 from hell (Halloween)
Nov - Bob's group shot of Ricks not normally seen dining together (Thanksgiving)
Dec - Joey's bass headstocks as viewed through a photoshopic haze (Christmas morning)

Happy New Year!

Of course, March is Mr. Dave Pascoe, who lately has been sidetracked to purchasing two-tone single neck basses with dubious pickup configurations, in Ebay auctions....

The June thing is none other than our own angst-ridden Jason Mendelson, although you'd never know it by his sunny poolside photos. Maybe he was just trying to cheer himself up. Works on anyone who sees that picture!
