I had the pleasure to hold and strum a 330 AFG. You are going to love that guitar whenever you open the case. Congrats.

Congrats on finally getting it. I know it wouldn't do any good, but I would compose a nice letter detailing the ordeal and send it to the shipping company.

Recall that the Fedex guy who delivers at my work location (and who has been super good previously) managed to deliver my RM3261 to the wrong address! Thankfully, I caught him and he remembered where he delivered it and got it back (the box had not been opened, the recipients having noticed that it wasn't theirs). To say that I was distressed for about an hour is understating it immensely!

I guess I've been spoiled with my 360 JG...The 330 was very cool looking with a deep red to redish amber center - much darker than I thought it would be. It appears that somebody had replaced the nut . I know Rickenbacker didn't let it leave the factory as received by me. After "A/B"ing the 360 and the 330 I have to say the 360 is the player. It also sounds more alive. The 330 had been in it's showrioom for a while but showed no abuse. Beautiful finish just too dark for me. I've seen Amber FireGlo's much warmer and lighter than this particular example. Again excellent finish work. Just wasn't doing it for me player wise. The nut seemed to have been replaced for whatever reason. Sadly it went back to the dealer. So my 360 JG is still the main axe now.

Hmmm, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, Ric330, especially in light of your odyssey with the delivery folks. I'd be interested in seeing a pic or two if you took 'em. If not, that's cool. Keep on keepin' on, brah. There is a 330/6 AFG out there with your name on it. Best regards....Goofyfoot.

It's weird but ever since I got the 360 I'm very interested in getting another Rick but I'd be hard pressed to find another, easily,
that gives me the trill of the 07 Jetglo 360. I thought that the 330 AFG was going to be the ticket but something was just not right
about that particular guitar for me. Oh, I'm still lookin', But aren't we all. :D
