BFTP28
Here's this week's for those who wish to play along
This act could be group, solo etc were essentially a one hit wonder certainly in UK. In US there was a number 1 record and a minor hit.
I wonder did this provide the inspiration for a 80's TV series?

Re: BFTP28
My guess is in, Roy.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: BFTP28
Please keep your impressions or guess to yourself until Roy announces who it is. There will be plenty of time to discuss the track then.

Re: BFTP28
I've got this one Roy, but I'm still smarting from last week's. I'm sure you recognize that this game isn't as simple as it appears: You give a fair clue, provide a legitimate sample, and then sit by and watch us betray our own judgment. I must tell you, I'm learning more from this game than just music history. Answer is in.
Re: BFTP28
I have no idea. The last two in this series have stumped me.

Another member of the 'Bamboozled Club' here, Roy! I'll keep at it, though...........
Re: BFTP28
This proved a bit difficult for those in UK as I thought and entries this week not as much as normal but still 80% of those who did enter got it, some even found it on the ubiquitous You Tube.
It was in fact Sgt Barry Sadler who had a Number 1 in US with Ballad of The Green Berets and was a minor hit in UK.
This was the follow up made number 28 in US but that was it then as far as Top 40 entries.
Thanks again to all those who keep this bit of fun going.

Indeed. This one isn't hard to find there.some even found it on the ubiquitous You Tube
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.
Re: BFTP28
I had no idea Roy. There was no sense even submitting a guess.
