Yeah, my first thought was that it looks like something Roger Rabbit might play.

It might not look quite so bad without that pickguard. Not the best choice for pickups either. There are much better pickups including other SD's that could have been installed in that bass.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Shore does...and the Roger Rabbit comment is right on, too...there was a guy on Ebay a couple of years back that had three of these for sale; two geetars and one bass. They were "created" for a movie. They look pretty strange being played by humans. The guitars were very large and actually had twisted necks, though the geometry was cleverly worked out. He was looking for something like $3.5K per; no sale I recall. There were shots of these being played by people in large, flourescent-colored zoot suits and huge fedoras. Oddly, the drum set was factory stock. Now, THAT was a missed opportunity to do some crazy stuff.

I remember seeing those, now that you mention it. And I agree with you on the missed drum set opportunity. That could have been good.

I kind of like the look of it. Kind of a melted RIC.

That's just what I thought - a "Ritterbacker". :)

I sort of like it but... nah. I wouldn't.

Oh, man, are those dreadful. They look like a bad prop from a Conan the Contrarian film.
