Rick-o-sound jack

Post by dr_bob »

Where can I get some information about when Rick-o-Sound was added? Also does anyone know what year jack plates began including the designation (actually inscribed on the jack plate) of Rick-o-Sound for one jack and Standard for the other?

I'm asking because up until recently I had never seen a 2-plug jack plate without the designations of Rick-o-Sound and Standard inscribed on the jack plate. Thanks.

I've seen several, but usually due to them being worn off!

So from the summer of 1960 on all 360s had two jacks and the designation of Rick-o-Sound written under one and Standard written over the other?

I am asking because the 1965 365 OS I just picked up does not have the Rick-o-Sound and Standard written on the jack plate, only the EJ ### serial number at the bottom.

Hi guys, the Dual Mono plates don't have any inscription apart from the serial number.

Dr. Bob, the script may have just worn off. To my knowledge, the only dual mono plates that were made were for the 360/12V64 & 360/12C63.
