Go to Guitar - Eventhough you may own several Ricks

One of my Casinos tends to get the most attention from me.
Acoustically, again the Casinos get a fair amount of play, followed by my D-28.
Ric wise, it tended to be my JG c58, but lately it's been the c64--a little "new kid" on the block thing going on there I suspect.
It really varies though...I'll go a couple weeks noodling around with one type guitar, then move to another as the mood strikes.

The 730L/12 FG sits on a stand in the living room most of the time, so that's literally the "go-to" guitar, due to proximity. Electric, it's an '87 610/12 JG/BT and a '97 360WB VP TUR. Oh, and for bass, the '85 4003 MG/BT is quickly being shoved aside by the '88 4003S JG.

My 1957 Gretsch 6120 and my 360/12V64
But i've just bought a White Falcon ,so its getting all the limelight at the moment!

I keep all my sacred ones in cases in the closet. Right now I have a Jay Terser (SP) 6 string Violin-shape out on a stand for everyday mucking around, and my burgundy acoustic 70's Ibanez Hummingbird ripoff is always around.

At home, when I want to figure out a lick I just heard, or want to play for a few minutes, I almost always pick up my Tacoma C2C Chief. Most of my playing though is either my '88 350, or my PRS. My Strat mostly sits in its case.longhouse wrote:I probably grab for my Tacoma C1C Chief acoustic/electric more than anything else....

It's this little fella's turn to be the go-to guy....

Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

My Ric acoustic has been my go-to guitar for quite some time now....
I love my 700 Comstock! That's why I used its headstock for the picture in this year's RRF calendar--it's Miss February.

Everyone keeps bringing up these Rick acoustics
...I really would like to get my hands on one. Where's the back of the line
Is it a long line? It sounds like Paul has his hands full with these beautiful acoustics.

...went in to buy a 52' Tele and walked out with a 360 Jetglo...

Howdy,
Since honesty is the best policy, I've got to rank my 1998 Gibson Les Paul Special (W/ SD Vintage P-90s) as my "go-to". It is my desert Island guitar as well. My MG Rickenbacker 360/6 is a fair second though. She's light, comfy and oh so beautiful.
