Congratulations, Marty. Will we call it a 345? Regardless it is a great looking Rickenbacker. Please tell us more when you get a chance to play it for a while. Don't forget to register it.

That's a beauty Marty. Enjoy. We'll hear from you in a day or two I suppose?

I called, in the "60s" it would have been a 345, now its a "340 AFG VP VB" vintage pickup special order with a vibrato.

But 345 works for me :D

Yes, in a day or two

She's a beauty!
How does the vibrato feel and work?
Sweet set of Toaster tops! I'm feelin'

Beautiful! Now you really can say "They don't make like that anymore" because Rickenbacker announced on 12/13/07 they weren't going to make them like that anymore.

Yeah I heard that too.

No more orders for Toaster tops or Vibratos...
The 370 and 340 are no longer available?
Unless??? On a vintage reissue model?

But I hear that you will still be able to buy the toaster tops pickups and vibratos separately.
I wonder about warranty when replacing PU's or tailpiece, no matter how well executed :?

Marty: Point taken. No matter what we call it, we can agree that it is special.

Excellent guitar, Marty. Fireglo, triple toasters, and an Accent. Woo! Enjoy it.

Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
