People are forgetting what made Michael Jackson a star.

So as a reminder...

Nevermind his strange behavior and all the controversy, you just can't deny how good he is as a performer.

Yes, I agree - MJ could wear a shiny white suit really well.

The last 15 years have been very sad, but the 70's stuff and Thriller are simply brilliant. Quincy Jones has production down to an art, and this is what it's all about.

"Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" is never out of my rotation listening. Louis Johnson's bass synth line is one of the great bass grooves ever.

Dial it up, turn it up, and just keep smilin'...

I think Jackson at the time of "Off the wall" was fantastic and a Singer and performer. Whilst a brilliant performer and at the top of his game for years he IMHO he detached himself from his own talent and realization that it was his fans that bought the music and the media that sold it.Also i think that MJ didnt understand the media and vice versa maybe he was employing the wrong people for the wrong reasons but his media lifestyle was trashed every day and i dont think he cared.Probably he wonders where it all went wrong and maybe he knows but as a performer he was top of his game many years before his game finished. Very sad
