The other day I read about an artist releasing a new CD of all Lennon/McCartney compositions never recorded by the Fabs on thier original studio releases. I can't recall the guys name who released the CD, but he attempted to replicate the sound of the songs as they may have sounded if the Beatles had done it themselves. ( I know, how can someone try and do that?). He did a decent version of "A World Without Love", from what I heard, it was just a sample clip. There were 11 or 12 tracks in total.
Anyway, does anyone know the complete number/names of the songs Lennon and McCartney composed during their tenure as a songwriting duo, which never made it onto the original Beatles LP's?
Lennon/McCartney Tunes By Others or Not at All

Hi Stan,
Given that Roy Clough kept an eye on the charts back then, plus he has incredible amount of data and knowledge at the ready I would probably look to him for an answer to your question. Another person that comes to mind as well is Peter. He's a Beatle fan whereas Roy probably took more of a liking to the Searchers.

Thanks, Brian, I sort of considered Roy and Peter as the qualified responders, but was unsure as to where this question of mine might best belong.

Good question. I dont know all of them offhand but here's one that is often overlooked.... George Harrison song, one of his very first that was (for legit reasons) never recorded by the Beatles. You Know What To Do

Pretty nice, eh? I'm in the process of doing my own butchered version on Sonar.
