Safe to say no other Fireglo has wood that nice. Congrats. I want one!
Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
My goodness, that's just stunning.

With flame like that, I trust you have a fire extinguisher handy?
BTW, if I might ask, what's the certificate number?

I am 99% sure I saw that same guitar for sale on eBay a few years back. I remember showing it to my wife... I really love the FireGlo on that one... Notice how it has more red and almost a mellon tint to it? That is the type of FireGlo I like...
Sad to say, I would not part with that guitar for a million bucks. Unless you want to give to me, of course... I've got a nicked up 480 I'll trade you!

Congratulations John, that's a beauty. Most of the ones I have seen have been flamey but there are some nice quilted ones around too.

Kevin, thats a mighty nice one.
Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
Some of the CW's are argueably the most figured Rickenbackers ever made, although some of the 381s I've seen have some wicked tops on them as well.
Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
Kevin: The photos of your instruments are second to none. Perhaps if you get a few moments you could register a couple and upload a few photos. It is a marvellous history lesson that is certainly easy on the eyes.

Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
Thanks for some awesome photos of a great guitar for my birthday! You must be happy to have it. Where did you manage to find it?
I know I'd be happy if I could get my hands on one. Since birthday money will be pouring in, I guess I have no choice but to save up for one.
How do you like the thin top?

Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
Jake, not sure if you were asking or myself but here goes: I've been patiently waiting (who, me?) for 8 years to find one like this. How'd i find it? Someone posted that a Guitar Center had one for sale. I caught the post about 4 minutes after it was put up. It pays to watch this site obsessively.
I love the thin top and this guitar had a decent setup on it. It was missing the certificate but I would NEVER let a missing certificate stop from buying a guitar. John
Re: Carl Wilson 360/12 Ltd. Ed.
Yes, John, I was asking you. In some ways, I'm glad I didn't check GC, because then I would have hindered you from having it.
What was the first thing you played on it?
