Does anyone have any pics of those Egyptian-themed monstrosities? And that "SOLD" (riiiiight!) white and gold Minarik?

Which raises the question, "Just because it is possible to do something, does it really need to be done?"

He missed the mark by not adding some video screens like the one a couple of months ago.

I was perusing the NAMM photos that Reliable Hardware had posted on Picasa and found this.
What's up with this?? Did you see this in the flesh Paul?

Sure. It's one of Jeff Babicz':

I'm not sure if all the hype pans out on these.

I would imagine that finding the correct string length for one of those guitars would cause quite a problem in a last minute quest to purchase new strings. All the info on his web site seems to be quite inovative but I doubt if the guitar world is ready for the "new look" or this model. I like his continuously adjustable neck idea but I'm not a fan(no pun intended) of the string anchoring technique he has come up with. It ruins the look of the instrument IMHO.

He has had a good deal of success, it seems. The odd look, backed by the rationale, seems to have attracted a number of customers.

I heard one at NAMM and there was nothing "different" that I could detect.
