Stu Cook's Ric Bass
Looks like Stu's '66 4001 is up for sale over at rockstarsguitars:
http://rockstarsguitars.com/product.php ... &x=0&y=279
Also his P-Bass that appears to have a toaster in the neck position.

Re: Stu Cook's Ric Bass
I think Mike G posted sometime back they wanted $55,000....
Mike?
Mike?
Re: Stu Cook's Ric Bass
Y'know, when is the last time anyone has seen a '66 4001, period?
I'd like to have it for that reason alone...

Complete with a jazz pup in the place of the horseshoe.
Re: Stu Cook's Ric Bass
John's right....You just don't see them from 66.
I think Mike Lull had a black one on a webpage once, but it was a long time ago.

Re: Stu Cook's Ric Bass
A Rick toaster pickup on a P-Bass makes a lot of sense, whereas a J-Bass pickup on a Rick bass makes no sense at all! Will someone kindly remove it, please...
Great-looking '66 4001, by the way.
Re: Stu Cook's Ric Bass
I checked on this one about a year ago, before I knew how much they wanted for it.
Anyhoo, they told me it has the original PU in the case.
