Joey Garcia

Post by BobKat »

For those of you that know Jey Gracia (a.k.a. Joeyangel):

I had been trying to reach Joey via e-mail for some. Finally I dug up his phone number and left a message.

The call back came from his wife, who informed me that Joey passed away last year from leukemia. I was shocked and very saddened.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

That's too bad, I'd exchanged some emails with Joey about Blue Boy Ricks about two years ago. Really, really nice guy. RIP.

I am sorry to hear this sad news about Joey.

Bob, thanks for passing the message along. This on-line community is pretty close in many respects and it's a shock to hear that we have lost one of our own.

Aw, man, that's tough. I always enjoyed his posting, always an "up" personality. RIP Joey!

Thanks for the heads up, Bob.

Very sorry to hear of Joey's passing. Our condolences go out to the family. I had no idea that he was ill.

The passing of Mr. Garcia occurred before my time on this board. Nevertheless, the beautiful sentiments so clearly expressed by forum members about him does convince me of what a wonderful contributor he was to this community. It is as though I knew him and therefore, his passing affects me.
