650S Pricing
Hello, First I have to say I am happy to be here on this forum, b/c my dream of owning a Ric is coming true! haha. I have a store here in ontario Canada that is selling a 650S and put it on hold for me until I can make it there this weekend. I am just wondering what the pricing should be around for the 650S, I want to make sure that I am getting a fair price since Rics don't come around this area that much and I don't want to see a huge inflated price b/c of that.
Thanks for any info!

Re: 650S Pricing
Welcome Michael,
Where in Ontario are you? I've never seen a 650 for sale around here, but I've seen 650d's online in the US for around $1000-1100 US. Is this a new or used guitar?

Michael: Welcome to the RickResource Forum and be sure to give us a full review when you get a chance to put it through its paces.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: 650S Pricing
You know, L&M will ship any guitar in their inventory to your local shop. I found this out when I called about a 620/12. They told me it was shipped to their store in Vancouver, but there was no hold on it and they could get it to Toronto in a couple of days if I wanted.
Congrats on the purchase, btw. I bought my 330/12 from a guy in London last fall.

Congrats, Michael, and welcome. I know you're gonna love that 650S. I've got one, and it's my main guitar.

Mad Dog.....How's your 650 Sierra treating you? Play on, pick often, and prosper. Regards....Goofyfoot
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
Re: 650S Pricing
Congrats Michael - it certainly sounds liked you're pumped about getting this guitar!
As a side note, the L&M in Cambridge used to be an independent shop called Murch Music that was a long time RIC dealer. Although now part of the L&M chain, I believe they still do a very good job of ordering and stocking Rickenbackers.
