Me and my V63 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, at one of my band's annual holiday shows there this December....

Great photo and nice v63, Paul! Gotta get a tug bar for mine.
Re: Post of picture of you PLAYING your ric
Thanks, John - ours are a month apart! Mine's B6 9321.
I actually use the tugbar too, sometimes! Of course the main motivation initially for putting it on was cosmetic, but I have been using my thumb a lot more recently.

How about that! I thought the headstock similarity was uncanny.pacealot wrote:Thanks, John - ours are a month apart! Mine's B6 9321.

I too like to use the tugbar on my v68 bass, though it's been off since I badly cut my thumb on it's sharp edge while upstroking.

Welcome to the RRF, Paul. Maybe you & Biscuti should form a band together given the significance of your respective first names.
Biscuti - I took a look at your '66 4005. It looks really nice in that pic. Are the frets the only thing that need to be addressed in it's restoration?

The frets, that big honkin' pickguard (the holes that were made for it need to be filled), and it's hiding a minor crack, which will be fixed.walker wrote: Biscuti - I took a look at your '66 4005. Great shot, Sean!

That IS very cool. Ominous in a way - nice under-lighting affect. Very Hitchcockian.
