It looks like either a side profile view of an old BSA or Harley Sportster motorcycle fuel tank, or else a fender skirt from my `48 Chevrolet, sans trim pieces.

I suppose it's a rip-off:

Jimmy Page gets $19,000 for signing one guitar:

You're right, Paul, it is a side view of a motorcycle gas tank. I wonder how many miles per gallon the guitar gets?

Don't these people get the fact that a motorcycle gas take has nothing to do with a guitar in any way?

The Owl geetar is a Maestro. Here's your holiday Maestro. What are the fretboard widths on these things, about 7 inches?

Again, these prove just because it is possible to do something is no reason to do it.

Wow, that's SWEET!

Seems to use Rick Hi-gains and knobs...I'll bet a poor Rick gave its life so that Frankenstein could terrorize yet another group of innocent citizens...

Found it in the Mpls craigslist. The guy got a high school plaque that misspelled his name, so he decided to turn it into a guitar.

Mistake after mistake.

Guess it depends on what it's a design for...
