This one underscores the pitfalls of preferring originality to condition. Yeah, it's LPB, at a price that would get you a common Sunburst model in much better condition.

Next, we have SPIKE. He's a bit of a showoff, and can poke you when and where you least expect it. But you need MAJOR HAIR to qualify to own him. No major money, however--only $250.00.
Last is possibly the most pathetic to us. And how many of us have seen at least one of these at sometime and been tempted, if only...
A skunk stripe JG 4001. Looks like a refinish over a MG original finish. The heel bears marks of at least two separate strap pin holes, maybe 3 or 4; hard to tell. Aftermarket active (?) Barto (?) pickups. Good Humor abounds on the control panel. Three (!) knobs, one of which looks like it brings in short wave band V, or maybe provides vernier tone colorations.
$1100.00 for this orphan.
Just so this ends on the proper note, I have purchased some nice instruments and sheet music from Elderly, so it's not all dreck. But these are egregiously awful for various reasons...
And can somebody tell me why they go through the trouble of providing 6 or 8 photos of a $10 wall-hanger in their listings, and yet fail to photograph some of the most unusual stuff, so we can satisfy our curiosity and maybe even purchase?
