BFTP31

Post by admin »

It would seem that Roy has been unable to submit BFTP31 this week as has been his custom for the past six months.

I have taken it upon myself to submit BFTP31 in keeping with his weekly tradition. Should I have over-stepped my bounds, I sincerely apologize to Roy. I believe I know him well enough now to appreciate that he would want the weekly teaser on the books. If you have one already in mind, Roy, I don't think anyone would mind an additional challenge for this week.

This act, which could be a solo or group, had numerous hits in the early 1960s in the US and the UK reaching number one in the US on three occasions. To my knowledge although doing well in the UK the act never had a number one hit there.

Please send your guesses to Roy's email address.

It does not seem at all like Roy to not keep his weekly brain teaser going himself. Hopefully Roy is OK? Can you shed any light on this situation for us Peter? Obviously I am a bit concerned.

Guess sent.
I'm worried, too. Hope everything's fine.

Brian and Sheena: I am hoping that computer problems are the explanation for Roy's absence. I have no other information to offer at this point. I will do some checking through other means.

Leeds was hit by quite a windstorm and I consider that this may be the culprit.

The storm hit later in the day on Friday January 24, 2008 and there was major disruption to many services.

I have heard from the wilds of Yorkshire. Alas, Roy is well and just suffering from computer withdrawal as his system has been down since Friday last. We should hear from him later today.

I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but I was unable to play the file. I get an error an Internet Explorer closes.

Glad you didn't blow away Roy. The product of Peter's power play was a tantalizing challenge. I've spent way too much time on this and all I have is a shot in the dark; thanks Peter! Guess is in Roy.

Perhaps another clue. I did not mean to make this so difficult.

I am confident that almost everyone who danced in the early to mid 1960s, did so to the music of this artist who was certainly a few pounds over his fighting weight.

Come on, people. Roy awaits your entries.

It appears some had trouble getting BFTP31 so for those of you who want to challenge yourself you'll find it in same place as BFTP32 where you can stream it rather than download.

Wouldn't it to be the good time to reveal the mystery?
