Rickenbacker Video (and some)

Post by brianeharmonjr »

I ran across this video on Youtube of a couple of guys playing on a couple of old export Ric models and talking about them. I checked out the user's other videos and these guys have a ton of videos of them talking about and playing a cream dream crop of old guitars and amps. Pretty interesting stuff. It looks like it may have been chopped up from one long video. I'd like to find the whole thing as watching all the pieces is a little tedeous, but here's the Ric one:

Is that Dave Gregory of XTC fame on the right?

Yup, that's the masterful Dave Gregory (formerly of XTC) on the right. I believe those are all his guitars as well. Very interesting piece - it would be cool to see the whole thing!

I just got a message back from the guy that posted the videos. He said they were taken from 2 Book/DVDs that you can get at amazon. Links below:

http://jawbonepress.com/2007/10/interac ... bible.html

I just purchased one of the "Totally Interactive Guitar Bible" from ebay for $18.00. I guess it's got a reference guide with a bunch of pictures and some lessons with a CD, but most importantly, a DVD with the full documentary that this clip is from with the guys playing and talking about all different kinds of guitars.
