Anyone near Savannah, GA?

Post by jakeox »

If anyone from the forum is near Savannah, GA, please let me know -- I have an eBay seller who is threatening to renege on the sale of a 4003. He asked for a money order, so I sent one via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation on Jan 30th. Despite the USPS "guideline" of 2-3 days for Priority Mail delivery, it's not there yet.

The guy says he just needs the money fast to pay rent, and if my MO doesn't arrive tomorrow, he's going to sell the bass locally and, so he says, return my MO when it arrives. Granted that the USPS is dropping the ball on this one, but it's clearly not my fault. I personally think he should have either accepted PayPal or asked me to ship payment overnight at his cost if he needed the money that fast.

If anyone's near Savannah and might be able to help out, please let me know. Thanks.

Kris Lyons is in Duluth but that is a bit far from Savannah. His nick on the forum is beatlefreak.

I am in Roswell, near Atlanta. That's still about 2.5 hours from Savannah. Sorry. If I can be of help otherwise, let me know. Maybe I can meet this fellow halfway.
