Midnight Blue 340*sparkle*

Post by wittyair »

Just got my new Midnight Blue 340......I didn't realize it would sparkle like it does. Awesome!!!
Reminds me of a 1972 Buick Gran Sport.

Congratulations Craig - I love a good 340.

Recently discontinued model + recently re-formulated finish = rare guitar :D

I really prefer that sparkly MID over the new "MIDNIGHT" shade of MID

Without a doubt, the silver undercoat adds magic to the midnightblue in these last two examples, as it does in the ruby finish as well.

If those are relatively new guitars, say less than 3 years old, then there's no silver undercoat. That "sparkle" is all in the paint.

Mine is brand spankin! Whatever they did, the sparkle is amazing. I had no idea!!!!
Kinda like the DCM.....it creeps up on ya and then in a certain light at a certain angle........Whoa!

Very cool, Craig. Are you going to put this one up on gbase with the others, or is it a keeper?

Dont know, Jason.....I think it's probably a keeper. As you can probably tell, my gbase gear is not the most reasonbly priced stuff around simply because I'm not really sure I want to sell the stuff. There are a couple of good deals on my gbase site and that's the stuff I'm actively trying to sell. The rest, I could be talked in to!!
