Love those Rick basses!

Post by tennis_nick »

My girlfriend was babysitting for an old teacher, and she said I was invited to come...

Downstairs in a distinctive grey case... Rickenbacker it said... a VERY VERY NICE 4003 in Fireglo!!! a 97! The slightly shorter scale is cool on these (compared to a 34" I'm used to playing)

One day I shall own one...

Or 4.

Love the '63, Ted.

Have you still got the 460? I love those.

There are a few guys here with much larger collections. Mine is modest in comparison.

The '63 is special. Not an everyday bass but it is fun to play and it sounds great. I bought that 460 for $200 back in '87. I have often considered selling it but I am just too attached to it.
