Hey! That crazy old 4005 is back! Maybe I should offer that guy a hundred bucks to take it off his hands once and for all.
Re: Good day on eBay
Teeder, right after I listed my c64s a few months back, a bunch came out of the woodwork and four more were listed on eBay within a couple days after mine started. I've seen maybe one on eBay since then. I guess better for them to pop up now than right after you list! However, all of those v63s that are on there now have high opening bids, so they may not impact you too much. It's the no-reserve, starting at $1 auctions that end after yours that can mess with your price.
(I ended up getting a fair price for my c64s off of eBay, because I'd put a semi-conservative reserve on the auction, so it worked out fine.)

no complaints from the receiving end, either.jakeox wrote:(I ended up getting a fair price for my c64s off of eBay, because I'd put a semi-conservative reserve on the auction, so it worked out fine.)

I figured! Out of all the basses I sold, that's the only one that I miss the sound and feel of -- and I think these have jumped in value since then. No complaints about my current arsenal, though.brycycle wrote:no complaints from the receiving end, either.jakeox wrote:(I ended up getting a fair price for my c64s off of eBay, because I'd put a semi-conservative reserve on the auction, so it worked out fine.)
