we're very close to decriminalizing it in Canada, btw. It may not happen now that we've changed Prime Minister, though.

the guy who made our website (http://www.shamustwins.com) is heavily into the hemp movement and gave me a video made by the US Gov. in the 1940's promoting the many practical uses of hemp (everything from fuel to clothing). Don't smoke it, though!

That's the one. Though I haven't watched it. I put it in a drawer and am afraid to even open that drawer (I work for the US Gov.) THEY might come after me.

You know, Jerry, they might come after you just for possessing the video!

At least your former PM looks like he's enjoying his new job. Image

Wow. . . I leave the forum for a couple weeks and it's come to lawyers, guns, money, and centerfolds. Who woulda thunk it of a bunch of "old fogey rick-backers?"

I'll tell you who competes with Rick, at least for my guitar dollar:
Gibson
Heritage
Hamer USA

I wanted something made in the USA with a 335 type sound OR a rick sound. Because the rick was unique looking/sounding, handmade, and available for test drive within a few' hours journey to North Carolina's mega guitar stores, I went with rick.

I love 335 type sounds too. But the real article is well over 2 grand. I was not impressed with any of Gibson's own various knockoffs (333, sheraton, etc.). The better hamers and heritage guitars are even harder to find in a store than a rick.

In what way do they compete? (just curious - I've never played either guitar)

Anyone here ever see that old movie that I think was called Marijuana Madness? I Where everyone who smokes it goes an a rape, plunder and pillage rampage? haha!
I think Harry Anslinger was the director of that movie in his quest to rid the world of that evil weed!

That's the most disturbing picture of Keith I have ever seen. Bob- Once in Cambridge I saw a double bill of "Reefer Madness"and Neil Young's " Human Highway" I just thought this thread needed to be more surreal.

Say, isn't that the actor who starred in the movie "The Animal"?

Think his name was Rob Schneider or something like that

Wasn't Devo in that Neil Young movie? Just throwing out another totally unrelated, obscure reference!
