How do you think they compare with the 90's reissues? What do you think of the Pro model like the one in the video below?
What do you think of the new Danelectro reissues?

I've got one of those Dano Pro's in peach. It sounds really nice, but it feels cheap, I hate the way the back of the neck feels (sort of a satiny-plastic) and it's impossible to play past the 12th fret.

I've got a Dano DC-3 from the first series of Korean reissues around 1999 or whatever, and these new ones are better than those earlier ones. Having said that, my Dano is my favorite guitar to just pick up and play. The neck is very comfy. The stock pickups on mine weren't very good...the new ones are better. I got some custom shop Duncan pickups made and put them in mine. The originals used alnico 6 magnets and it is very important to get the correct sound. The new pickups don't use the A6, but they are still pretty good. The tuners are better on the new ones than the first batch of reissues too. They're a great deal in my opinion as long as you treat them for what they are and don't expect them to have RIC quality.
