T-Shirt w/ a Ric

Post by lennon211 »

Here's a t-shirt from a company called Obey with a Ric guitar on it. It's a pretty cool shirt.

That looks very cool! Denny Laine if I'm not mistaken?

Rickenbacker goes with anything. How about some Rickenbacker guitar plectrums, John Hall?

I would have used the word "picks" but I felt like I might be the straight man for the respoonse "360/12 or 650."
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Looks like Denny -or a younger Macca. Not the shirt sleeves on the left arm and spiked bracelet on the right!

I always loved that Woody Guthrie tag: 'this machine kills fascists'

Might have to pick this up and end my moritorium on wearing tee shirts on stage.

Nice shirt, but $28 is a little steep for a T shirt. Besides, I already have my Rickebacker shirt. I just wish the bass was on the front.

No problem. A little background on it: it's an Obey brand shirt which may not mean much, but it's a well-known brand in some circles. They had been making their shirts partially out of recycled cotton. The artist that designs the shirts is Shepherd Fairy, a grafitti artist who transitioned to t-shirts and clothing. He did the design for the Walk the Line poster among other recent non-clothing projects. He's also done some work for Fender. I used to work for a store that sold Obey shirts and I'd sell the **** out of them.
