I did order the vintage toaster along with a vintage case. I was thinking jetglo all the way at first, but I decided on MB for the finish. I just couldn't pass it up and I figured I could always order another one in jetglo, but MB is not going to be around forever. If I ever get a standard 4003 I will probably get that one in jetglo. Thanks for the pics. That is one sweet looking bass. It is going to be hard to wait months for this bass, but it'll be worth it in the end. Cheers.
A toaster equipped 4003 FL MB is a super excellent choice, Rick.
A silver vintage case makes the bass even more rare and treasurous. I wish you get her sooner than expected.
P.S.-How about the vintage strap bolts instead of the modern locking botls if you would not play her jumping around? That would make the baby even more classy. I replaced the locking type that came with my Akiko with the vintage type and switched to the vintage knobs after the above pictures were taken and have been happy with it.
