Hey Nick. Nice work. I like the guitar arrangement for the horns. You have made this song your own which is difficult. McCartney's high register is a challenge. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thanks for listening Peter! I'm thinking that in the near future I may just scrap it and redo the whole thing, now that I know more of the ins and outs of my recording set up.

I dug it, Nick! Great job arranging the horns for guitar. If I may offer a critique - try and make the bass more staccato, it's a bit too legato. Trying sticking a piece of foam under the strings right in front of the bridge. There's always palm-muting too.

Or, you could just get a Rick bass and use the wonderious mechanical mute. Y'know, for authenticity's sake. :)

If you'd care to donate to the cause..... .... ...

I tried with a mute, but I didn't get the hang of it at the time (I had only played bass for about 3 days when I recorded it)

I'm better at it now though!

Here comes the sad truth. No Rickenbackers are featured on this recording, hence the reason it's in this section, and not in the Rickenbacker recording artist section.

Guitars used

Rhythm - borrowed Tele
Lead 1 - My Gibson SG
Lead 2 - Borrowed Tele
Bass - Epiphone EB-3
backwards guitar - SG

I think that's it!

thanks for listening!
