Exactly what dialect of English is this, J-Dog ? When I read this, I recall Barbara Billingsly talking jive in Airplane. Anway, it's all hip hop on the up swat. S-Pile.
That's what you sound like after you spend some time hangin' with out Aussie friends! :D
Seems like you guys are having a great time.

In J-Dog, here is another one of Melissa "diggin' on" my J-45. She said something to the effect that "the groovy wood shakin' sent some warm vibes a quakin' ".

She has quite the lovely voice, and is a very fine performer. It's nice to see someone smile when they sing. Sorry y'all, she wanted to visit me and not everyone else  We should plan a Southeast RickenLove Fest - it's way fun to meet fellow Rick-o-holics in person. This is all way too happy for me ...

Just pulled into Grand Marais around midnight last night after a long day of being in airports and on planes.... We must have brought a bit of warm weather home with us, as the temp is already above 30, and the snow is melting--I was worried that I might suffer extreme thermal shock upon coming back to Minnesota, since temps were subzero when we left for Florida a week ago! Even so, it felt like a crime to put jeans and normal shoes on before heading to the airport, when the morning must have been about 85 degrees--it was wonderful to experience weather that felt like the best days of a Minnesota summer in February!

The night at Steve's was one of the best highlights of the trip for me.... Steve was a great host, and a great Italian chef, too! The Playstation kept the boys occupied and happy while we traded songs back and forth all night, and I was only sorry that we couldn't spend more time together....it's a great thing to meet online friends face-to-face, when we have so much in common! Also great to hear Steve's songs live, as I've been enjoying his CD's for about a year now! :)

BTW, Steve has a terrific collection of acoustic guitars, in addition to his lovely Rickenbackers! He was very generous in sharing his collection, and insisted that I play 'em all!

When I visited Paul W. last May he was the same way but it would have taken a week to play all his instruments (guitars, basses, keyboards)!

Glad you made it home safely Melissa. I have enjoyed reading this thread. If it's any consolation we still have a bit of snow here as well. Oh well spring is just around the corner.

Has it really been a week already?

The whole trip, but especially our micro-mini confluence, have left me feeling refreshed and happy and inspired! Thanks again, Steve! :D

I'm hoping we can make it to RIO, but have my doubts about it at this time, since if things go according to plans, we may be moving to Duluth this summer....
