Berlin Korn show

Though it is not my scene, I caught the Korn show in Berlin last week. The opening act was a metal band (Deathstars?) from Sweden, or at least that is where the singer hailed. I was surprised to see the bass player with what appeared to be a 70's JG 4001. I could not hear it most of the time because there was either a keyboard player off stage or someone was using bass pedals. The low-end was totally dominated by that. When the bass cut through it had a Lemmy-like growl that sounded pretty good.
